Therapeutic Massage for Women
Prenatal & Postpartum Massage

Pregnancy Massage

During pregnancy, your body goes through major changes. Prenatal massage can be a safe way for women to get a massage during pregnancy. It can help reduce pregnancy body aches, reduce stress, and ease muscle tension. Additionally, it helps with by reducing stress, decreasing arm and leg swelling, and relieving muscle and joint pain.

Focus can be drawn to lower back, hips, and leg pain. Massage may be particularly helpful during a time when medication and other medical options may be more limited. In early pregnancy, you may lay face down with a special pillow cutout for your belly. As baby grows, you will be positioned in a comfortable upright position, or on your side during the massage. This is a great way to take care of yourself and your growing baby!

Postpartum Massage

The postpartum period is a special, but challenging time. Remembering your own well-being is good for you and baby. Postpartum Massage can aid in reducing swelling, improve milk production, regulate hormones, reduce anxiety and depression, and help you sleep (read about other benefits of massage).

I will also incorporate doTERRA essential oils to help you feel your best whether you have recently gone through labor, surgery, have chosen to breastfeed, or are simply adapting to your new lifestyle caring for your baby.
